Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities

Policy and Planning Subcommittee

Purpose: The Policy and Planning Subcommittee will:

  • Coordinate with other subcommittees, partners and stakeholders to identify barriers to employment.
  • Work collaboratively to develop policy recommendations that propose solutions to build a seamless, cohesive employment service delivery system.

Goal B1 - Remove the barriers that people with disabilities face when seeking employment, e.g. healthcare, housing, transportation and accessibility.

Goal C1 - Work toward a seamless, cohesive service delivery system across State Agencies by including State and local stakeholders, employers and the disability community in the development of policies and practices.
