Employer Advisory Council
The EACs are a cross section of local employer volunteers from businesses throughout
California. Partnering with EDD staff, the EAC helps employers do business more
effectively and efficiently. The EACs assist employers in their efforts to give back
to their communities by advocating local workforce development efforts, supporting
veterans’ stand downs, and providing scholarships to local area youth. Lastly, the
EACs help educate employers about relevant employment issues, increase employer
knowledge of EDD programs and services, increase cooperation and communication between
EDD and the private sector, and identify ways to improve EDD services.
